PRIVATE ENGLISH LESSONS
One to one lessons are catered to individual needs and are designed to develop your skills. You can focus on anything that you think will help you make progress, including; speaking, listening, reading or writing, as well as grammar and vocabulary. Students can decide what areas they want to study and develop upon. So the learning plan are made to meet individual needs and learning styles, which is agreed upon, by both teacher and student.
The one to one class timings are flexible within the schools opening hours and are made to accommodate you.

Progress
Your progress is assessed every 4 weeks, when you can discuss your progress with your teacher.
You will proceed to the next level when you are ready and the teacher think that is appropriate for you. Normally we expect you to spend 10-12 weeks in one level, but it depends on the individual;
Will I get a certificate ?
After have finished the course, you will get a Portland School of English Certificate (provided your attendance is 80% or above).

Conversation Club
Every week you will be able to join our club with the students and our teachers. Here you can practise speaking English and can also meet students from other English classes to share ideas, knowledge and make friends!
